Import details

This option allows you to import data into Tournament Director. Three types of data can be imported:

• BCF Club List
• BCF Grading List
• FIDE Rating List

See Import dialogue for more information.

Export details

The Export facility allows you to create a Comma Separated Value (CSV) format file, that contains details about players on your system. See the Export dialogue for more information.

Options

The options dialogue allows you to enter some key details about the system.

Database Bar

The Database Bar allows a database to be created and opened via the buttons. It also displays the database name and path. See Databases for more information on handling multiple databases.

The Database Bar can be turned off or on.

Button Bar

The Button Bar allows you to quickly move between the three views.

The Contacts button displays the Contact view which shows a list of people (used as contacts) on the system. The Master button displays the Master view which shows a list of all players (local, BCF and FIDE) held on the system. The Tournament button displays the Tournament view for the current tournament, or allows you to open a tournament if one hasn’t been opened yet

The Button Bar can be turned off or on.

Tournament Bar

The Tournament Bar allows a tournament to be create, opened, updated or copied via the buttons. It also displays the nameof the currently open tournament and the round.

The Tournament Bar can be turned off or on.
