The Tournament details are displayed on the left hand side of the screen. A list of players in the tournament is display on the right hand side A list of pairings to avoid and pre arranged byes can also be displayed. Under the tournament details, is a set of buttons that allow you to manage the tournament:
A set of Tournament related prints can be requested by using the Player List, Pairing/Results List and Cross Table buttons. On clicking on one of these buttons a print dialogue will be displayed with defaults for the required print preset. The print preview can then be displayed. (A full range of prints is available under File->Print menu option. ListsOn the right side of the view are three list of details for the tournament
At the bottom of the lists is the Pairing & Results button, which allows the pairings and results to be maintained on the Pairings & Results dialogue Player ListThe Player list displays a list of all players in the tournament along with their score and the number of games played. This uses the systems standard list with its associated functionality. Under the player list is a set of buttons that allow you to manage the players in the tournament.
Players that have Withdrawn are displayed in light grey. Avoid ListThe Avoid list display a list of all pairings that should be avoided if possible. These Avoid pairings are used by the automated Swiss pairing program to avoid certain pairings where possible. This uses the systems standard list with its associated functionality. The Update List button allows the list of avoids to be manually maintained. See the Update Avoid List dialogue for more details. The Generate button allows avoid pairings to be automatically created based on certain criteria. See the Generate Avoids dialogue for more details Bye ListThe Bye list displays a list of all pre-arranged byes for a tournament. Any byes that are allocated during the tournament or manually entered during the tournament are not displayed in this list. The automatic Swiss pairing program will use this list to allocate the pre arrange byes. This uses the systems standard list with its associated functionality. The Update List button allows byes to be manually entered and maintained |
