Background information

Tournament Director was originally developed by Marc Shaw in association with Tony Corfe and ran under DOS. It was marketed by Tournament Chess Supplies. Many of the original ideas and concepts from the DOS version have been incorporated into the Tournament Director for Windows.

The Swiss pairing program used by the DOS version of Tournament Director was developed by Joe Eskinazi. This has been incorporated into the new Windows version of Tournament Director.

The new Windows version of Tournament Director will run on Windows 95, 98, ME, XP, 2000 and NT. See System requirements for more details.
